Role: Prep & Assembly Operative

Rate: £12.71 - £14.00ph DOE
Hours: 37.5 per week
· Monday – Thursday: 0600 – 1430
· Friday: 0800 – 1230 (early finish)

We now have a fantastic career opportunity for a permanent Prep & Assembly Operative who has experience within a engineering/machining environment.
Key Duties:
· Preparation of components prior to the assembly operation – eg; shot-blasting, water jet cleaning, laser marking, hand cleaning and assembling complex components etc.
· Magnetising and testing of magnets for assembly or shipping.
· Assembly of magnetic components.
· Maintaining accurate records of work.
· Measuring components as required.
We are looking for:
· Experience within a similar role
· Previous experience shot blasting
· Ability to use an ERP system / experience of using an ERP system
· Ability to use computers competently and the use of MS Office
· Ability to work with a team
· Attention to detail and diligent with work.
