Full-Time Subcontract Position | Consistent Work Available
ADW Group is looking for experienced and highly competent Gas Boiler Installation Engineers to join our growing team on a full-time subcontract basis.
We are looking for professional engineers who take pride in their workmanship and are confident completing boiler installations to a high standard without requiring supervision.
This is not an occasional subcontracting position. We are looking to build long-term relationships with reliable engineers who want regular, consistent work.
The Role
You will primarily be carrying out domestic boiler installations across Burnley and the surrounding areas, with travel generally expected to be within approximately one hour of Burnley.
Work will include:
- Combi boiler replacements
- Combi-to-combi swaps
- System-to-combi conversions
- Conventional/heat-only boiler replacements
- Heat-only and system boiler installations
- Boiler relocations
- Full system conversions
- Alterations to heating and hot-water systems
- Installation of controls, filters and associated components
- Flushing, commissioning and balancing heating systems
- Completing all required installation and commissioning documentation
- Ensuring installations comply with current Gas Safe and Building Regulations requirements
What We Are Looking For
This position is for experienced boiler installers. Applicants must be competent and confident carrying out more involved installations, not just straightforward combi swaps.
You must:
- Be Gas Safe registered and hold the appropriate current qualifications
- Have significant domestic boiler installation experience
- Be fully competent with system conversions
- Be fully competent working with heat-only/conventional heating systems
- Be confident fault-finding and overcoming installation issues
- Produce consistently high-quality pipework and workmanship
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable and professional with customers
- Be able to work independently
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Have your own suitable van
- Have your own professional tools and equipment
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have appropriate subcontractor/public liability insurance
Pay & Incentives
£300–£350 per day, depending on experience, competency and the type of installation.

Location & Travel
