The Adult Acupuncture Service at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncture Practitioner to join our specialist team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week).
The successful candidate will provide acupuncture treatment for adults whose primary presenting complaints are headache and/or chronic pain.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner to work as an autonomous specialist within a well-established, collaborative, and supportive multidisciplinary team. The role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality integrated healthcare while developing your specialist clinical expertise in a renowned centre for integrated medicine.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering professional, patient-centred care and acupuncture treatment using a holistic approach, ensuring that patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs.

- Triaging referrals received from GP’s and UCLH Health Professionals
- Conducting detailed consultations with patients to understand their health concerns and goals
- Perform acupuncture treatments in line with local safety procedures, guidelines and regulations
- Accurately maintaining patient records detailing treatment plans, progress, and any adverse reactions in a timely manner
- Staying updated on the latest research and techniques in acupuncture, headache and chronic pain management
- Proactively and effectively communicate with the team and managers ensuring that you are working in an organised manner
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings monthly
