Job Title: Office Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am-5.00 pm - 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Cedar Care Head Office, Mortimer House, Clifton Down Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 4AE
Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour.

Job Description:
The overall purpose of the role is to support administrative tasks in the office, as described below. The role will assist the Office Manager and works closely with the finance team.
- Provide support and assistance to the Managing Director –e.g. travel, and procuring items.
- Oversee legal and service compliance for the company fleet and other equipment.
- Source and procure equipment for our homes and Head Office.
- Track and record company credit card expenditure.
- Manage post and incoming telephone enquiries.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Managers and Administrators.
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
We are looking for experience in some or all of the following areas:
Qualifications/ Skills/ Abilities
- Presents a positive and professional image of the organisation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (primarily Outlook for email and Word and Excel).
- GCSEs in Maths and English - Grades A –C
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- A methodical approach to completing tasks to a high and accurate standard.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information pertaining to the organisation, residents and staff.
Work Experience
- We provide our staff with the training required for the role, so no direct experience is required, although previous purchasing and administration experience is beneficial.
- Has worked individually as well as within a team.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries effectively.
- Customer Service Experience.
