Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of work, Decrobond is looking to recruit an experienced Door Estimator to join our Sales & Estimating team.

About the Role
Working closely with our Head of Sales & Estimating, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate quotations, providing technical advice, and ensuring projects are handed over efficiently to our production and purchasing teams.

You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure quotations are accurate, projects are brought to fruition and handed over seamlessly, and every customer receives the highest standard of service.

The Role
As a Door Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Producing accurate and competitive quotations from client drawings and specifications within agreed timescales.
- Reviewing architectural drawings, door schedules and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Using specialist estimating software to prepare quotations.
- Providing technical advice and value engineering solutions where appropriate.
- Liaising with Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Contractors, Commercial Managers and Site Teams throughout the tender process.
- Following up quotations and developing strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Processing successful projects and ensuring a smooth handover to purchasing and production.
- Maintaining accurate records within our estimating and CRM systems.
- Working collaboratively with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Desirable
- Experience estimating timber doorsets, fire doors, architectural joinery or related products.
- Knowledge of ironmongery and fire door regulations.
- Experience using estimating software.
- Understanding of the commercial fit-out, education or healthcare sectors.
- Appreciation of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
