Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support to promote independence
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems accurately to document care activities, update records, and track progress in line with organizational standards
- Contribute to creating a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and reporting any concerns promptly
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3years previous experience in a care home is essential;
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Strong communication skills with a caring attitude and the ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn about care plans and adapt approaches accordingly
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on service needs
