Job Summary
We are seeking a Timber CNC Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC saw machinery to produce precise timber components. Duties
- Operate CNC saw machinery to cut timber according to specified dimensions and designs.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Utilise hand tools and tooling to assist in machine setup and minor repairs
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including loading and unloading timber stock
- Assist with fabrication and assembly as required for project completion
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to facilitate precise cutting and assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication or CNC machine operation within a manufacturing or warehouse environment an advantage
- Competence in using hand tools, tooling, and basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse setting
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and work efficiently under supervision
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards
- Forklift Licence
