The Experienced Baker will be confident in baking a variety of different products, such as sourdoughs, ciabatta, bloomers, rolls, croissants- just to name a few, however there is a wide variety of goods we create!
Knowledge of Vennoiserie together with working knowledge of making sourdoughs, ciabatta, and yeasted bread is required.
The right candidate will have experience in mixing, scaling, shaping, baking and working the ovens. All items made at Crazy Baker are made by hand from start to finish, without shaping machines, so this is a key element to the necessary experience we are looking for.
Responsibilities
Execute baking tasks, including the preparation of doughs and pastries, while adhering to food safety standards.
Collaborate with evening staff to maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
Follow food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bakery environment.
Additional Information:
Part time or full time.
3-6 days per week.
FT = 45 hours per week.
Afternoon/evening shifts- start time around 1pm
Overtime / holiday cover may be required
Uniform is provided
Shift includes a sandwich and tea/coffee
