Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support individuals in their daily routines, including meal preparation and medication reminders
- Maintain accurate care plans tailored to each person's needs, ensuring all support is personalized and effective
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress efficiently
- Drive company vehicles when required to support home care visits or appointments
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions
- Knowledge of care home procedures and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Experience working in home care or similar settings is advantageous
- Proficiency with IT systems for documentation and record keeping
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring, respectful attitude towards all individuals
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
