Grounds Maintenance Operative

We're looking for an Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a team that already runs to a high standard, not to build one from scratch. If you've got at least two years in commercial grounds maintenance and you're good at it, we want to hear from you.
We're an Arboricultural Association Approved company with our own in-house training centre. We invest in kit, training and the people who take the work seriously. This role suits someone who already knows their way around a site and wants to work somewhere that matches that standard.
What you'll be doing
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge work, planting, clearance and general site presentation across commercial, housing and local authority contracts, working independently or leading a small team depending on experience.
What you need
Minimum 2 years commercial grounds maintenance experience. Confident and competent with ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, strimmers and hedgecutters. Full UK driving licence. Right to work in the UK.
Useful to have
PA1/PA6 spraying tickets. NPTC or LANTRA qualifications. Tractor and trailer experience. Experience leading or mentoring a team.
Pay
£27,000 - £30,500 for experienced operatives, £30,000 - £33,000 for senior operatives or those ready to lead a team, depending on experience and qualifications.
