Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Instore Fundraiser to join our team. This role involves engaging with the public to promote our organisation’s mission, building meaningful relationships, and encouraging donations through face-to-face interactions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in raising awareness and support for our cause within retail environments. Previous experience in marketing, customer service, or relationship management is advantageous, but a genuine passion for fundraising and community engagement is essential. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in public relations, CRM software, and donor management tools.
Duties
- Engage with shoppers and passersby to inform them about our organisation’s initiatives and encourage donations.
- Build rapport with potential supporters through friendly and persuasive communication.
- Manage donor information accurately using CRM software,
- Organise and participate in promotional activities within retail stores or public venues.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the organisation positively at all times.
- Record interactions and donations efficiently, ensuring data accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet fundraising targets and optimise outreach strategies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and providing information about the organisation’s work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in marketing, customer service, or relationship management is desirable but not essential, Full training provided.
- Knowledge of CRM software,
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Organised with attention to detail when managing donor data and recording interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about community engagement, fundraising, and making a positive impact.
- Friendly demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with supporters. Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
