April Complete Care Solutions is a growing care provider based in Pencoed, dedicated to delivering dependable, person-centred domiciliary and support services within the local community. We pride ourselves on providing high standards of care while supporting both our clients and staff in a professional and compassionate environment.
We are currently seeking a Care Coordinator or a motivated trainee with the right qualities and previous care experience to join our team covering the Bridgend area, including Pencoed, Bridgend Town, Porthcawl, and Sarn.
The role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with salary dependent on age and experience. A full driving licence is essential.
The successful candidate will play a key role in organising and maintaining weekly rotas for approximately 30 care staff supporting around 60 clients. This includes managing holidays, training schedules, and staff availability while ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will also support the Manager and office team with day-to-day operations and occasionally assist clients within their own homes, helping to promote their wellbeing, independence, and personal outcomes.
We are looking for someone who is caring, dependable, organised, and approachable, with a positive attitude and a strong understanding of the importance of reliability within the care sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing weekly staff rotas.
- Supporting office administration and operational tasks.
- Attending client care calls when required.
- Participating in out-of-hours call support when necessary (additional pay provided).
- Taking part in the on-call rota (maximum 1 in 3 weeks with additional payment).
- Supporting clients with personal care, nutrition, hydration, and general wellbeing where needed.
- Maintaining effective communication with clients, families, and care staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year’s UK care experience.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach to work.
- Welsh speaking skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
