Golborne High School is a flourishing and heavily oversubscribed 11-16 secondary school, proud to provide an exceptional education for the children of Golborne and Lowton. We are one of a very small number of state comprehensive secondary schools in the North West to be judged Outstanding by Ofsted, and we are exceptionally proud of what this means for the pupils who attend our school and the staff who work here.
Alongside strong academic outcomes, our pupils experience a broad and ambitious curriculum and benefit from a wide range of opportunities for personal development beyond the classroom. We continue to build on our success as a beacon of excellence at the heart of our community, underpinned by high expectations, inclusivity and a relentless commitment to continuous improvement.
At Golborne High School, we believe our staff are our greatest asset. We are committed to supporting the wellbeing, development and professional growth of all colleagues, recognising the vital contribution that both teaching and support staff make to the success of our school and wider educational community.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as Trinity Hub Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the development of the next generation of teachers through the administration and coordination of the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme in partnership with the Wigan Institute of Education and the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme delivered through Generate Teaching Hub. The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact for trainees, Early Career Teachers, mentors, facilitators, school leaders and external partners. They will ensure programmes are delivered efficiently and effectively through excellent administration, coordination and communication.
The role also includes responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Trinity Hub, including managing communications, coordinating events and meetings, supporting visitors and stakeholders, and providing high-quality administrative support across a range of teacher development programmes.
An application form and further details of the post are available from the school website www.golbornehigh.wigan.sch.uk

We look forward to receiving your application should you be interested.
