We are looking for an unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in St Albans that is committed to helping every pupil thrive.
This role starts in September on a full-time basis, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Assist in creating engaging learning experiences
- Encourage positive behaviours and independence
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
What we're looking for
Essential
- Previous SEND experience (3 months)
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience working within a school environment
- Level 3 or Bachelor's Degree
