Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Kart Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorsports and a strong background in kart or vehicle mechanics. You will be responsible for ensuring our rental kart fleet is in optimal working condition, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance according to a service plan on karts.
- Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of repairs and maintenance performed on each kart.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with rental or race karts. Similar relevant experience considered.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, brakes and all chassis components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- The role is part-time, working pattern and hours to be agreed with the candidate.
- A valid driving licence is preferred.
