Domestic Assistant Fulltime/part-time - £12.71 ph
We are now recruiting Domestic Assistants to work day duties at Halvergate House, Care Home, in North Walsham, Norfolk.
Hours worked will be on a shift basis 5 days per week from 08:00am -02:00pm, working every other weekend as rostered.
Halvergate House provides nursing care, dementia care and NHS Continuing Health Care. It is an established well regarded care home. It provides a safe, warm, pleasant, lovely and caring home environment for both residents and staff to be in.

As a Domestic Assistant you will be expected to assist as part of a multi-disciplinary team, maintaining a clean and odour free environment, working in accordance with our infection control policy with respect, diligence and care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks throughout the home.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces.
- Empty rubbish receptacles and replace liners.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Adhere to specific cleaning schedules and instructions.
Skills:
- Previous experience in cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques.
- Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
