Hours: Monday – Friday 07:50 – 18:10 | Sunday 10:50 – 15:55

Sanctuary Personnel are recruiting experienced Band 6 Nurses to work as Senior Delivery Leads (SDLs) within a mobile clinical service supporting blood collection from volunteers for specialist testing programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced nurse with strong leadership skills who can oversee the day-to-day running of a mobile clinic, lead a team of Healthcare Support Workers, and ensure high standards of clinical safety, compliance, and patient experience.
The successful candidate will act as the clinical and operational lead on-site, ensuring procedures are followed, staff are supported, and the clinic operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Healthcare Support Workers carrying out daily phlebotomy activities.
- Take responsibility for the safe and effective running of the mobile clinic.
- Ensure all clinical procedures, SOPs, and governance standards are followed throughout each shift.
- Monitor staff compliance with PPE requirements and correct clinical processes.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the wider clinical team.
- Manage stock levels, place orders where required, and escalate shortages to Service Managers.
- Act as the point of contact for operational and clinical issues during clinic sessions.
- Report incidents appropriately through required reporting systems.
- Carry out venepuncture when required, including supporting with unsuccessful blood collection attempts.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism within the clinical environment.
- Complete daily audits and ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with Band 6 or above experience.
- Strong leadership and team management experience within a clinical environment.
- Current venepuncture, cannulation, or blood collection competency.
- Ability to provide evidence of venepuncture/blood drawing certification alongside your CV.
- Current DBS certificate required before submission.
- Confident supporting and supervising healthcare staff.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy mobile clinic environment.
Driver Requirements:
- Must be aged 25 or over.
- Full clean manual driving licence required.
- Must be comfortable driving the mobile unit.
- Attendance at an induction day is required, including vehicle driving.
