Responsibilities
- Execute multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work as required on-site.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks with precision.
- Fabricate and modify materials or components to meet project specifications using appropriate techniques.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of building structures and systems.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work sequences and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, managing tools and materials efficiently throughout each project phase.
Experience
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson or multi trader within the construction or maintenance industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or related trades.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools essential for various trade tasks.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for fabrication and installation purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adapt to different trade requirements on-site.
- Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to construction sites and trade-specific procedures.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in trades such as electrical work or welding are preferred but not mandatory.
