We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong flair for hairstyling, colour techniques, and customer service, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. Duties
- Providing a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and specialised treatments.
- Offering additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Mentoring junior staff and apprentices to support their professional development.
- Managing front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and product recommendations.
- Upselling retail products to clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensuring the salon environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service.
- Assisting with store management duties when required, contributing to the smooth operation of the salon.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Skills in store management, customer service, and front desk operations are highly desirable.
- Additional qualifications or experience in eyelash extensions and makeup application are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanour.
- Mentoring experience or leadership qualities that support team development are preferred.
- A recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering recognised by relevant industry bodies.

Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
