About the Role:
London is one of the UKs leading centres for creativity, design, and digital business, and at Skep Studio Creative Services, we bring that same structured and creative approach to design operations. We support growing organisations with design workflow management, brand delivery, creative production, project coordination, and day to day studio operations.
We are looking for a Design Operations Manager who can take ownership of daily design operations and help keep creative teams, timelines, assets, and client work organised. You are not just managing design tasks; you are improving workflows, supporting designers, coordinating priorities, and making sure creative work is delivered clearly, consistently, and on time.
You will work closely with designers, project managers, brand teams, content teams, client services, and management to make sure priorities are clear, resources are planned properly, and design related work moves forward smoothly.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our London studio provides a professional and creative workplace where clear communication, organisation, and teamwork matter every day.
Creative Workflow Focus: We believe strong design delivery comes from clear briefs, accurate timelines, organised assets, and consistent follow up. Your work will help keep creative activity structured and dependable.
Client and Brand Focus: We support clients who rely on polished creative work, timely updates, and well managed design processes. You will help maintain a reliable and professional design delivery experience.
Growth: This role is suitable for someone who wants to build a strong career in design operations, creative project management, brand services, digital production, or studio management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Operations Management: Oversee daily design operations, including project updates, creative timelines, asset tracking, design requests, workflow coordination, and delivery follow up.
Team Coordination: Support and guide designers, project coordinators, content teams, and client service staff to make sure priorities are clear and tasks are completed on time.
Creative Workflow Support: Manage design briefs, production schedules, review cycles, handover notes, file organisation, and internal communication around creative work.
Process Improvement: Review current design workflows, identify delays or repeated issues, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen creative delivery and team efficiency.
Client and Stakeholder Communication: Work professionally with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and management to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
Reporting: Prepare project summaries, design delivery updates, resource notes, issue logs, and management reports to support decision making.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in design operations, creative project management, studio management, brand services, digital production, or creative operations is required.
Leadership: You are comfortable guiding teams, setting priorities, resolving workflow issues, and keeping people focused during busy periods.
Design Awareness: You understand creative briefs, design timelines, review cycles, asset management, brand consistency, and the importance of organised design processes.
Communication Skills: You can write clear updates, speak professionally, and coordinate confidently with clients, designers, project teams, suppliers, and management.
Tooling: You are comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, project trackers, shared folders, creative asset systems, and common design collaboration tools.
Mindset: You are organised, practical, creative, and calm under pressure. You know how to prioritise urgent work, support your team, and keep design operations moving efficiently.
