As our Bid & Proposal Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, managing and submitting high-quality bids, proposals and funding applications that support the growth of Time2Launch.
You'll own the complete bid lifecycle - from opportunity identification and qualification through to submission, clarification responses and post-submission activities.
Working closely with our leadership, solution architects, AI specialists and engineering teams, you'll develop compelling responses that clearly demonstrate our technical expertise, delivery capability and commercial value.
You'll play a key role in expanding our presence across both public and private sectors by securing opportunities through procurement frameworks, enterprise RFPs and innovation funding programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor and qualify tender, framework and funding opportunities across the UK and international markets.
- Monitor procurement and funding portals, including:
- Find a Tender Service (FTS)
- Contracts Finder
- Crown Commercial Service (CCS)
- G-Cloud
- Digital Outcomes & Specialists (DOS)
- NHS procurement frameworks
- Innovate UK
- Horizon Europe
- UK Research & Innovation (UKRI)
- Lead the complete bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission.
- Conduct bid/no-bid assessments and recommend pursuit strategies.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial and delivery information.
- Write, edit and review high-quality proposals, tender responses, executive summaries and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all submissions are compliant with procurement requirements and submission deadlines.
- Prepare clarification responses and support contract negotiations where required.
- Develop and maintain a reusable proposal library, case studies, CVs, templates and supporting documentation.
- Improve bid management processes, governance and quality assurance.
- Maintain visibility of opportunities, submissions and pipeline activity within the CRM.
- Track bid performance, analyse outcomes and implement continuous improvements.
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management or Tender Management within the IT, software development or technology consulting sector.
- Proven experience preparing successful responses to public and private sector tenders.
- Strong understanding of UK public procurement processes and framework agreements.
- Experience working with software development, AI solutions or digital transformation services.
- Excellent proposal writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with G-Cloud, CCS, DOS, Find a Tender Service (FTS) and NHS procurement frameworks.
- Experience preparing grant applications for Innovate UK, Horizon Europe, UKRI or similar innovation funding programmes.
- Experience responding to enterprise RFPs, RFIs and RFQs.
- Knowledge of AI, cloud technologies, software engineering or digital transformation.
- APMP certification or equivalent bid management qualification.
- Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
