Role Purpose
The Warehouse Picking Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily picking operations within the Burton Distribution Hub. The role ensures that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with company procedures, enabling the team to meet daily operational targets and overall business objectives as defined in the company quality manual.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the completion of all daily picking activities to meet operational deadlines.
- Ensure that all packing and dispatch processes are completed accurately and on schedule each day.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, allocating labour and moving team members as required to meet the demands of the picking operation.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
- Ensure attendance records, including absences and holidays, are accurately maintained and updated within the Cascade system.
- Ensure all plant and warehouse equipment are regularly checked and maintained in safe, good working order.
- Enforce compliance with all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Train, support, and develop team members to ensure a full understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and operational standards.
- Safeguard company assets by ensuring the proper handling, storage, and security of stock, equipment, and facilities.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
