The Role
As Duty Manager / Supervisor, you’ll help lead the team and keep things running smoothly across our busy pub and hotel.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day front-of-house operations and ensuring consistently high standards of service.
- Leading by example, motivating the team and creating a positive, supportive working environment.
- Welcoming guests and making sure they receive friendly, attentive and personal service throughout their visit.
- Being visible and hands-on during service, stepping in wherever you’re needed to support the team.
- Supporting the training and development of new and existing team members.
- Helping to maintain our standards while contributing ideas to continually improve the guest experience.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, personable and genuinely enjoys looking after people.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service or a similar environment.
- Experience of supervising or leading a team, or the ambition and potential to step into a leadership role.
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate and bring out the best in others.
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with guests and colleagues.
- A calm, practical approach when things get busy.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Most importantly, a great personality and a genuine desire to make our guests' day.
