Complex Care Support Worker (Driver Essential)
Location: Thetford, Norfolk (IP24)
Pay:
£14.50 per hour (Days) / £15.00 per hour (Nights)

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to make a genuine difference in someone's life?
We're looking for compassionate and reliable Complex Care Support Workers to support an individual living at home in the Thetford area.
This is an opportunity to build a rewarding long-term working relationship while providing high-quality, person-centred complex care within the individual's own home.
This package currently includes regular long day shifts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, together with waking night opportunities. As a zero-hours employer, we will work with your availability to match you to suitable shifts, and additional hours may also be available across other Ambition Community Healthcare packages where appropriate.
About the role
You will provide one-to-one support within the person's own home, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing while delivering safe, high-quality complex care.
Your role may include:
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Medication support
- Supporting daily routines and community activities
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs
Experience supporting individuals living with epilepsy would be advantageous, although package-specific training can be provided for the right candidate.
Current Shift Pattern
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- 08:00–20:00 day shifts
and
- 20:00–08:00 waking night shifts
What we're looking for
- Previous care experience
- Complex care experience is desirable
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Access to your own vehicle is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach
- Right to work in the UK
