We are looking for an Summer Kitchen Assistant to work split shifts Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10.30am to 2.15pm and 4.30pm to 9pm for the summer holidays. The job involves reading the orders and making sure the correct amount of items are cooked. Candidates will be using the small fryers to cook all of our breaded items, whitebait, scampi, nuggets etc, including the burgers, using the grill to toast the buns and putting the burgers together with customer requirements. No experience necessary as full training and safety clothing will be provided. Knowledge of a working kitchen an advantage.
Hours are 41.25 hours a week.
Candidates must be reliable and have good reading, writing and counting skills and be able to work quickly under pressure.
If desirable the job will continue into September and October.
