Social Worker – Adult Social Care
Across Cornwall – Locations available in Truro, Redruth, Hayle, Liskeard & Bude
Monday to Friday | 8:45am – 5:15pm
£25.38 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a busy Adult Social Care team supporting vulnerable adults with health and social care needs.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred assessments, care planning, safeguarding, intervention, and review work while promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for service users and carers.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out statutory assessments, reviews, and support planning

Manage complex caseloads involving vulnerable adults and families

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
-
Promote safeguarding and ensure legal responsibilities are met
-
Support individuals with complex needs including dementia, mental health, and family crisis situations

Maintain accurate case records and reports
-
Work within relevant legislation, policies, and professional standards
Requirements:
-
Qualified Social Worker with relevant social work qualification
-
Current Social Work England registration
-
Experience within Adult Social Care
-
Strong assessment, safeguarding, and care planning experience

Excellent communication, report writing, and organisational skills
-
Ability to manage complex and sensitive situations professionally
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
