Join Our Team as a Barista / Server
We’re looking for a confident and experienced Barista / Server to join our cafe team.

At Humdingers, we’re known for our freshly baked bread, artisan pastries, excellent coffee, and a warm, community-focused feel across our London cafes.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, front-of-house role combining barista skills, customer service, and day-to-day responsibility for the cafe.
You’ll play a key part in keeping service running smoothly, maintaining high standards, and making sure every customer has a great experience.
Shifts are worked on a rolling rota basis, and weekend availability is essential. There will also be some sole working shifts, so confidence and a proactive approach are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and drinks consistently
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service and build relationships with regulars
- Support the smooth running of daily cafe operations
- Open or close the cafe by companies sandards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
- Help create a positive, welcoming environment for both customers and team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong barista experience (essential)
- Previous front-of-house experience (supervisory experience is a bonus)
- Comfortable working independently when needed
- Friendly, reliable, and proactive
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A genuine interest in coffee, food, and hospitality

Pay: £12.75-£13.25 per hour
