Job Overview
We are looking for a paralegal who is not afraid to challenge themselves and the misconduct of lenders and financial institutions. An ability to stay positive and motivated despite seemingly insurmountable odds whilst fighting for individual consumers against the infinitely deep pockets of financial institutions is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and assessing the merits of claims.
- Omnibus cases.
- Maintaining ongoing contact with individual clients and managing expectations.
- Managing own litigated case load efficiently and independently to a high standard.
- Working to strict court deadlines to prepare claims for trial.
- Drafting witness statements, and legal documents in line with CPR.
- Conducting research into how the law is developing and continuously keeping knowledge up to date.
Key skills
Technical Skills & Experience
- Managing own litigated case load within the field of litigation.
- Personable skills and experience with managing client expectations.
- IT literate with working knowledge of Word and Excel. Training will be provided on CRM.
