Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and directing them appropriately with courteous phone etiquette
- Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, transferring calls or taking messages as needed
- Managing appointment scheduling and maintaining calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Performing data entry tasks accurately into systems such as QuickBooks and other organisational databases
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and correspondence efficiently
- Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area at all times
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and basic record keeping
- Supporting other administrative staff with various clerical duties to ensure seamless office operations
Experience
- Previous office experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative roles is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and accuracy to handle correspondence efficiently
- Demonstrable phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus but not mandatory
