Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Ground Worker to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in supporting various landscaping, construction, and maintenance projects. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for digging, trimming, and other site preparation activities
- Support the use of machinery including excavators and irrigation systems to facilitate construction and landscaping projects
- Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Help with construction activities by preparing sites, moving materials, and assisting skilled tradespeople on-site
- Conduct site inspections to identify hazards or issues requiring attention, ensuring a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment such as excavators, irrigation systems, and power tools
- Proficiency with hand tools including shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws
- Ability to operate machinery like excavators or other construction equipment is a plus
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance needs
- Knowledge of construction processes and site preparation techniques
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
