Malone’s Edinburgh is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and help keep the operation running smoothly during busy services, sports peaks, and events.
The role
This is a brilliant opportunity if you’re looking for a first kitchen job or a way to get started in hospitality. You’ll be a key part of the team, supporting the chefs by keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and service-ready at all times.Training and development are available for the right person.What you’ll be doing
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to a high standard
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout service
- Supporting with basic kitchen tasks as needed (e.g., putting deliveries away, simple prep)
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Taking ownership of your section and staying on top of tasks during busy periods
- Working closely with the chefs to keep service running smoothly

- Organised and able to manage your own workload
- Calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and happy to muck in as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean and safe
- Willing to learn: training and progression opportunities available
Pay: £12.71-£13.20 per hour
