Duties
- Plan, organize, and supervise breakfast and after-school club activities to promote fun, learning, and social development
- Lead and motivate a team of childcare assistants and educators to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously to create a secure environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily needs
- Manage daily operational tasks including attendance records, activity schedules, and meal arrangements
- Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and childcare standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare, teaching, or similar roles working with children
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification or Equivalent
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Valid driving license
- Knowledge of child development principles and safety procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passionate about nurturing children's growth and fostering positive relationships
- Must have an Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to undertake one.
