Facilities Technician

PCCA UK is a specialist pharmaceutical manufacturer dedicated to improving patient care through the supply of high-quality medicines and healthcare products.
We're looking for a Facilities Technician to join the team in Low Prudhoe, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of the manufacturing facility and equipment. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Facilities Manager, helping to ensure the site continues to operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
What you'll be doing
- Supporting planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site equipment and facilities.
- Assisting with maintenance of manufacturing equipment, utilities and buildings.
- Ensuring maintenance activities are completed and documented in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Supporting PAT testing, calibration and validation activities.
- Liaising with contractors and internal departments to coordinate maintenance work.
- Contributing to preventative maintenance programmes (TPM).
- Providing hands-on technical support across the site as required.
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience in facilities, maintenance or engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
Ideally you'll have:
- A mechanical, electrical or facilities-related qualification.
- Experience maintaining equipment and/or building services.
- Electrical competency (17th or 18th Edition would be advantageous).
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience within pharmaceutical, food, medical device or other regulated manufacturing environments would be beneficial but isn't essential.
