Our friendly Tithe Barn Community Wellbeing Café is supported by volunteers of all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you already have skills or are just starting out, we’ll support you to learn, grow, and feel comfortable at your own pace.
You don’t need experience or confidence to begin—many of our volunteers start exactly that way.
What matters most is a willingness to get involved and be part of a welcoming team.
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting the Activities Co-ordinator with planning and setting up sessions
Welcoming participants and helping them feel comfortable
Supporting group activities and encouraging involvement
Helping prepare materials and resources for sessions
Tidying up after activities
Providing general support to ensure sessions run smoothly
What you’ll gain:

Insight into planning and delivering community sessions

You don’t need previous experience—just a friendly, patient approach, good communication skills, and a willingness to get involved. Full support and guidance will be provided.
