We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and customer focused Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous retail or sales experience and be confident working with customers in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities -
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers.
- Assist customers with product enquiries, recommendations and purchases.
- Work towards and contribute to achieving targets.
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Operate the till / EPOS system confidently.
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.
- Receive deliveries and assist with stock management.
- Keep the shop floor and stockroom clean, tidy and well organised.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Support promotions, merchandising
Essential Requirements -
- Previous retail or sales assistant experience is essential.
- Proven experience providing excellent customer service.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Experience using a till / EPOS system.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
