Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but full training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team in a busy dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Follow food safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, ensuring smooth service flow
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with guest services and time management skills are beneficial for success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
