We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Café Supervisor to lead our vibrant café team, in a brand new cafe in Longniddry.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

You will split your time between food preparation, front of house duties as well as taking charge of barista skills on the coffee machine
Duties
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve high standards in food preparation, serving, and hospitality
- Oversee food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations
- Train staff on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques are preferred, however full training will be provided
- Experience in food safety standards and food production processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving and barista experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Previous hotel or café experience is advantageous but not mandatory
This position is part time, on a shared basis alongside another supervisor, shared over 5 days, Wednesday - Sunday.
