Position overview:
We are looking for a Performance & Marketing Operations Lead based in London (hybrid working model) to drive marketing performance, revenue visibility, and commercial insight.
This role combines marketing operations, revenue operations, CRM governance, marketing attribution, audience intelligence, and performance reporting to support pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and marketing ROI. Working with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Finance, the successful candidate will own reporting frameworks, data quality, funnel performance, audience targeting, and marketing technology optimisation.
This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with Salesforce, marketing automation, analytics, and stakeholder management experience who enjoys turning data into actionable business insights.
Role Purpose
The Performance & Marketing Operations Lead owns the operational engine that connects marketing activity to pipeline, revenue and commercial performance.
The role is responsible for revenue visibility, marketing attribution, CRM and marketing operations governance, performance reporting, audience intelligence and conversion optimisation. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, RevOps and Finance, the role ensures CIBT has a trusted, scalable and commercially focused marketing infrastructure that supports growth across all revenue engines.
This role is accountable for providing a clear view of what is driving pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition and marketing ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Visibility & Attribution
- Own end-to-end marketing attribution and revenue visibility.
- Develop reporting that connects marketing activity to pipeline creation, opportunity progression and revenue outcomes.
- Establish a single source of truth for marketing performance reporting.
- Support Board, Executive Leadership Team and investor reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of attribution models and source tracking.
CRM, Data & Marketing Operations
- Own marketing operational processes across Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Establish data governance standards, quality controls and operational best practice.
- Manage lead lifecycle processes, routing, scoring and data integrity.
- Work with RevOps to improve reporting consistency and commercial visibility.
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks impacting lead flow and conversion.
Audience Intelligence, Targeting & Growth Data
- Build and maintain ICP, account targeting and audience segmentation frameworks.
- Manage the effective use of audience intelligence and prospecting platforms including ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and website identification technologies.
- Develop account prioritisation, audience development and targeting methodologies that improve marketing and commercial effectiveness.
- Leverage behavioural, intent and engagement data to improve audience understanding and campaign performance.
- Support inbound, outbound and account-based growth initiatives through high-quality audience intelligence.
- Work with Sales, RevOps and Marketing teams to improve targeting efficiency, lead quality and conversion performance.
Performance Reporting & Commercial Insight
- Own marketing KPI frameworks, dashboards and executive scorecards.
- Deliver actionable insight across pipeline creation, conversion, campaign performance and marketing influenced revenue.
- Produce monthly and quarterly performance reporting for leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities, risks and performance trends requiring intervention.
- Ensure reporting supports commercial decision-making rather than activity tracking alone.
Conversion & Performance Optimisation
- Monitor and improve funnel conversion performance across key customer journeys.
- Identify conversion friction points across digital channels and lifecycle programmes.
- Support website performance optimisation and customer journey improvement initiatives.
- Work with channel owners to improve campaign efficiency and return on investment.
- Drive a culture of testing, measurement and optimisation.
Agency & Platform Performance Management
- Support governance and performance management of external agencies and marketing technology platforms.
- Ensure external partners are aligned to agreed KPIs and reporting standards.
- Monitor delivery against commercial objectives and performance expectations.
AI, Automation & Marketing Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency and commercial visibility through automation and technology.
- Evaluate emerging AI, automation and marketing technology solutions across reporting, audience development, search visibility, campaign execution and operational workflows.
- Develop scalable processes that reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight.
- Support the adoption of AI-enabled targeting, lead scoring, reporting and optimisation capabilities.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to assess new technologies and commercial use cases.

Profile
Experience
- Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations or Performance Marketing leadership experience.
- Strong Salesforce and marketing automation experience.
- Experience building reporting frameworks and executive dashboards.
- Experience with attribution, funnel analysis and conversion optimisation.
- Experience using audience intelligence and prospecting platforms such as ZoomInfo, Apollo or equivalent.
- Experience working with cross-functional commercial teams.
