Client: Leading Specialist Construction Contractor
Essentials: Degree in Health & Safety; 5+ years’ experience in a similar role; strong knowledge of EU H&S legislation.
Location: on-site in Germany, Finland or Austria; willing to travel to other EU projects.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE.
Package: Relocation covered (Flights and expenses), Accommodation, Meal allowance, Car, Pension etc.
- Implement and monitor the company’s Health & Safety Management System across construction sites.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety reviews to ensure full legislative and company compliance.
- Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and H&S training to site teams and contractors.
- Develop, review, and update risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring accurate reporting and corrective actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture by positively challenging unsafe behaviours and site practices.
- Liaise with site management, clients, insurers, and external authorities as required.
- Track and report health and safety performance, trends, and key metrics to senior management.
- Support tender prequalification submissions and safety-related documentation.
