We are looking for a reliable Cover / Lead Driver to join our team. This role involves learning multiple delivery rounds to provide cover when required, sometimes at short notice.
You will also help build new milk rounds, supporting other drivers with onboarding a high volume of new customers each week.
This is a permanent position after 12 weeks, provided that performance and attendance meet the client’s expectations.
Location: Leeming, DL7 9LY
Pay: £15.14 per hour, rising to £15.64 + £500 bonus after 6 months
- 36–38 hours per week
- 4 nights per week
- Approx. 10pm–7:30am
- Friday and Saturday nights off
- Permanent opportunity with an established Yorkshire business
Requirements:
- Full UK Cat B driving licence
- Experience driving a 3.5t vehicle
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
This is a hands-on role suited to someone dependable, flexible, and comfortable working nights.
