Job Summary
Millfield Rose Care Home are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our care home, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident/relative inquiries or requests with professionalism.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
