Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working in an environment that fosters, nurtures and stimulates children. This role requires excellent communication skills. The Early Years Practitioner will play a crucial role in supporting children's development and learning through engaging activities and positive interactions. This role involves working with children aged 0-3 only and any successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
The role will be full-time. The role will not be term time only and the successful candidate will be expected to be available all year round.
Responsibilities
- Love, attention and nurturing
- Demonstrate good practice
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Demonstrate good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion
- Support the continuous improvement and quality of children and education within the nursery
- Plan and prepare daily activities
- Work in partnership with parents and carers
- Observe and support children's learning and development following the EYFS Framework
- Maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification with experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
