Learning and Development Advisor
Contract: Fixed term 12 months
Location: GMFRS Fire Service Headquarters, Swinton and GMCA Tootal Buildings, Manchester city centre

About the role:
The Learning and Development Advisor is an exciting opportunity to support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and development across the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
You will help coordinate the delivery of the Training Needs Analysis, support learning and professional development policies and procedures, and contribute to the design and implementation of learning solutions that build skills and capability across the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues, managers and partners, you will also support the effective use of learning systems, learner records and digital platforms, helping to ensure a positive and well-organised learning experience for staff.
About you:
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering excellent customer service and providing accurate, high-quality administrative support. You will be confident using digital platforms, working to deadlines, managing changing priorities and handling confidential information appropriately.
You will be well organised, flexible and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of colleagues, managers and stakeholders. Experience of supporting projects, coordinating activities and working in a fast-paced environment would also be valuable.
