About the role
Job Title: Catering Supervisor
School Location: Westonbirt School, Tetbury, GL8 8QG
Working Days: 5 days out of 7- includes weekends
Shifts & Working hours: Various Shifts 9am-5pm/ 10am-6pm/ 11.30-7.30pm/ 12noon-8pm (40 hours per week)
Working Weeks: 52 weeks per year
Pay Details: £29,120 per Annum
As a Catering Supervisor, you’ll support the Chef Manager in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to lead a team that delivers a high-quality food service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Chef Manager by supervising a section of the kitchen
- Leading and motivating team members during service
- Delivering a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
- Assisting with the preparation of food and snacks
- Providing counter service and operating the till
- Ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards
We’re looking for someone with strong customer service skills and a proactive, team-focused approach. Experience in catering or retail is desirable, but, what matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
