Looking for a PA
Personal Assistant Required for Jonathan a 44 year old man who is living with a rare progressive neurological condition (Friedreichs Ataxia).
Typical Duties include:
- Support with personal care including, showering and dressing, help on and off the commode and administration of medication
- Preperation of meals
- Laundry - washing, drying and putting away
- Going for walks with Jonathan and his Border Collie Leah
- Attending medical appointments with Jonathan and his other PA
- Occasionally attending social activities including accompanying Jonathan to football matches (he is a season ticket holder for Manchester United)
Jonathan will require a driver but he has a motability vehicle that is available to use
Hours of work: 10 hours a week plus one overnight stay
Location: Warrington Great Sankey
Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour/£75 per overnight (sleeping night)

Jonathan has a full time PA, we are looking for additional support as his care plan has increased.
Flexibility to work weekends and do occasional cover is required.
Jonathan uses hoists to assist him into bed, into his wheelchair, into the shower and on the toilet. Training will be provided.
Jonathan is also partially sighted and requires help to put in his contact lenses and remove them before bed.
Jonathan enjoys music , football , watching films and relaxing in his man cave playing chess on his phone. He has a great sense of humour and takes pride in his personal appearance. There is never a dull day when you around Jonathan.
