We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Team. The Glenmore Trust is a prominent not-for-profit organisation that offers services for adults with a range of disabilities and mental health conditions across North Cumbria, including Carlisle, Wigton, and Penrith. Our support teams ‘enable individuals to live a life of their choosing’, guided by our strapline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of high-quality services
- Develop effective local partnerships with a range of providers and purchasers
- Effectively handle conflict and demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Empower individuals who use the services of the Trust by managing staff teams and creating an empowering environment
- Ensure effective operation of services and adherence to all Glenmore Trust systems, policies, and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional with a person-centered approach
- Care or Management qualification at level 3 or above
- 2 years of first-line management experience
- Experience in working within and managing support services for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, and other associated needs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
