Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumbing and gas engineer to join our team of muti-skilled operatives to lead and assist the growth of a plumbing department within the company.

Works are generally carried out within domestic and light commercial settings as part of insurance reinstatement works, reactive maintenance or refurbishment projects.
Responsibilities
- Undertake plumbing and gas works included but not limited to bathroom installations, heating installations, leak detection, fault finding, drainage works etc.
- Coordinate plumbing and heating operations from start to finish, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing work to ensure quality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of tools and materials, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
- Compiling trade specific estimates & quotes for plumbing repairs.
- 24/7 on call rota (1 week in 4)
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications
- SVQ or equivalent approved trade qualifications.
- Valid ACS/Gas Safe qualifications.
- Full UK driving license.
- Must provide an up to date PVG/Basic disclosure.
- CSCS card preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating & drainage systems with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Multi trade skills would be beneficial eg competent in tiling works, basic joinery etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £38,960.00-£43,680.00 per year
