Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Sewing Machine Operator to work in a hat manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on production role requiring speed, precision, and consistency. You must be confident using industrial sewing machines and able to produce high-quality work without supervision.
This is not a trainee position — you are expected to contribute from day one.
Duties
- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce hats to a high standard
- Stitch and assemble hat components accurately and efficiently
- Work with different materials including cotton, canvas, and structured fabrics
- Maintain consistent quality across all products
- Identify and resolve minor machine or stitching issues
- Meet daily production targets without compromising quality
- Keep workspace clean and follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sewing machine operator (essential)
- Experience in hat or garment manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail — high-quality finish is non-negotiable
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under production targets
- Familiar with industrial sewing machines and basic maintenance
- Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently
