1st Choice Removals is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused 3.5 Tonne Luton Van Driver to join our growing removals team based in Bournemouth.
This role involves carrying out residential and commercial removals across Dorset, Hampshire, and surrounding areas. Working alongside an experienced removals crew, you will help deliver a professional, efficient, and stress-free moving experience for our customers while ensuring their belongings are handled safely and with care.
The role includes regular nights out and occasional Saturday working on a rota basis (every other Saturday when required).
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate 3.5 tonne Luton removal vehicles
- Carry out residential and commercial removals across the South Coast and surrounding areas
- Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture and customer belongings safely and efficiently
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards
- Work closely with the removals team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Previous driving, removals, delivery, or multi-drop experience preferred
- Experience driving a 3.5 tonne Luton van is advantageous
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication and customer service skills
