We have an excellent opportunity available for a Vehicle Technician to join our team at A.S Autoworks Ltd.
We are looking for a passionate Service Technician/ Mechanic to repair and service vehicles to the highest standards possible. You will be working independently & as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Our garage is equipped with latest equipment and technology. We are committed to ensuring our colleagues have a safe environment to operate in and provide all necessary PPE.
About you
You will be a team player who is comfortable operating in a fast paced environment where there are set processes and procedures.
You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification.
Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing.
Excellent problem-solving skills, organisation & strong attention to detail
A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
Experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and diagnostics
Experience with sports, luxury and performance vehicles would be preferred but not essential.
Full clean UK driving licence required
Duties
Your duties as a Service Technician / Mechanic will be:
To receive work from the workshop controller and carry out related checks, administration and protection routines
To assess tool and equipment requirements and communicate any related issues
To service and repair all vehicles
To report on all additional repair requirements as they are identified
To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation
To complete all administrative procedures relating to service and repair work
To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
To undertake vehicle road tests when necessary
To attend meetings and training programmes as required
To perform other duties in support of other team members as required
